Liam Gillick & Philippe Parreno Another Day with Another Sun, 2014-16 Motor, drive, cable & DMX card, Arri light, cable, ballast, tracks The site-specific installation was originally realized in collaboration with the artist Liam Gillick for the exhibition Solaris Chronicles at the LUMA Foundation in Arles. The artwork—an artificial light that crosses through the exhibition space thanks to a system of suspended tracks—evokes the passage of the sun from dawn to dusk. Along its path, the light strikes the elements of the building, casting their shadows dramatically on the floor and walls. Photo © Andrea Rossetti
