Stainless steel paper dispensers (7 units), paper, burns on wall (8)
The sculpture consists of seven volumes of steel paper dispensers built into a white wall that shows burn marks. The objects have different sizes and some appear unusually large. Usually part of the furnishings in public or semi-private settings, the dispensers look displaced in the context of an exhibition. As art objects they draw attention to everyday bodily routines such as washing of hands but also evoke the semi-private atmosphere usually associated with that activity.
