Sections of a wardrobe, string, metal hooks
240 x 55 x 30 cm
Hung Wardrobe is one of the first works for which Roman Ondak modified found furniture. In this case, the original object is not recognizable. Its sawn-off corners are connected with strings and hung on a wall, creating an imaginary object. Two people may stretch the strings, holding the corners at the right distances and therefore defining the spatial volume of the former wardrobe. The strings are of the same length as the wardrobe’s walls.
