Aeon is constructed from oiled oak beams covering a metal frame. Recalling the wood-covered handrails of a staircase, the metal frame is visible on the down- and inward-facing sides.
Suspended from the ceiling, the work floats above the ground, forming an enigmatic geometric shape suggestive of Greek key or meander, found on ancient Greek vases or the ornamental freezes of Roman temples.
