Tapis de Lecture (Enrique Vila-Matas), 2008

Carpet night blue, 300-500 books

The work consists of a carpet and books selected by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster. It has been specifically produced for this exhibition. Enrique Vila-Matas' work is the starting point for the associative selection, which is laid out as an offer to sit down and read.

Solarium, 2007
In collaboration with Nicolas Ghesquiere

Solarium features a hallucinating screenplay of points of light that flow like rivers from the background into the foreground only to wane and slide from side to side and fade. Visitors become part of the projection going beyond a territorial origin to challenging the limits of (self) knowledge.
