Introduction

Christopher Roth will present his Pilgrim Viewer (in collaboration with Sam Chermaye and Arno Brandlhuber) and Blow Out (The Film).

Blow Out (The Film) was largely shot in and around the architect Dante Bini’s La Cupola, a dome-like structure built for the Italian modernist filmmaker Michelangelo Antonioni and his lover the actress Monica Vitti. The film evokes the building’s history—built for a couple that split up before its completion—as three women appear to visit the site, vanish and reappear.
