Erasure, a multipart neon work consisting of six neon tubes, reproduces a handwritten cross-out gesture enlarged to the scale of the space in which it is exhibited. As both an X that marks a spot and a physical barrier, Erasure seems to delete nothing other than the space it occupies, while simultaneously providing the light to make it visible.
