The Heptahedron Stools and Chairs Series 1 is based on the shape of the seven faces of the heptahedron. Every face of the geometrical form finds an equivalent in the seat of a stool or chair. The design of the chairs associates them with the theater text’s subject matter, and—given the similarity to furniture designs by Donald Judd—also draws a direct connection to the history of form.
