Camille Henrot Minutiae of the Day, 2023
Bronze
75 x 60 x 50 cm
Edition of 5
Minutiae of the Day is a sculpture in patinated bronze in which ribbons of orange peel curl, loop and cantilever from their base with a calligraphic lightness that belies the weight of the material. Each bronze is finished with a unique patina, so that no two casts share the same surface and coloration. The title refers to the small, repeated acts that structure daily life, extending Camille Henrot's ongoing attention to routine and care.
