Her heavy breasts, swollen abdomen, and the stretch marks running across her stomach evoke the physical transformations of motherhood. A vivid red line loosely traces the contours of her body, which seems to merge with and emerge from the surrounding field of color. One incongruous detail immediately stands out: an exaggerated, elongated nose with an almost phallic appearance. Broad washes of pale pink, punctuated by metallic passages and darker splatters, form a layered, fluid backdrop.
