Ugo Rondinone the beach, 2013
Bronze
17,8 x 26,8 x 7,6 cm
Edition of 3
In a series of sculptures Ugo Rondinone has addressed ephemeral phenomena of time, appropriating traditional methods of casting. Motifs of these sculptural series range from classical genres of art history, such as still life and nude, to redefined archetypical forms of primitive art: masks, large abstracted heads and animal figures.
