Danger Dirty Data. Tell Your Story is a multimedia installation by Julia Scher, continuing her long-standing investigation into control, visibility, and the aesthetics of surveillance. The work draws on her previous installation Danger Dirty Data, first shown at Scher’s solo exhibition I’ll be Gentle at Pat Hearn Gallery in New York in 1991. The historical work is in the collection of Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach. The new work is presented for the first time in the foyer of Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin for the group exhibition Global Fascisms.
