Marquee, 2007
Plexiglas, 8 Neon, 11 light bulbs (60 and 75 Watt)
The work consists of a body made of Plexiglas, light bulbs, neon tubes and triangular brackets on top and was installed at the entrance of Esther Schipper Berlin for this exhibition. Based on marquees traditionally used to announce theatre or film performance, the artist's versions have no writing, only light and its rhythm.
