56 Flickering Lights, 2013 LED lights, computer The light in the 56 vertical lamps is programmed using a DMX controller. At the artist's 2013 solo exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo 56 lamps were programmed to flicker to correspond to a time code based on Igor Stravinky's Petrushka. At the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015 the rhythm was determined by live algorithm. The lamps can be installed in different areas of an exhibition space or building, with other works of art or alone.
