Norbert Bisky's illuminated sculpture is assembled from remnants of urban life, among them electrical boxes, trash cans, illuminated letters, doorbell panels, and parts from streetlamps.
Fragments of imagery from street art, comics and branded signs also feature in the new body of work Bisky’s presented as part of his solo exhibition, Polympsest, reiterating the hybridity of the urban environment, a living canvas of signs in constant flux.
