Endodrome was conceived for the artist's participation in the 58th Venice Biennale, as part of the Virtual Reality installation bearing the same title.
The artwork's title is derived from the Greek word endon, meaning ‘internal’, and dromos, meaning ‘running, race track’, Endodrome continues Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster’s exploration of notions of space, alternative states of consciousness, and interiority.
