As the artist notes, "Choreography for Divine Transitions (Gestures) is an ongoing series of sculptural fragments or “gestures” cast from close friends and members of Los Angeles’s performance art community. Each fragment represents a distinct gesture—a notation of a body in transformation, tied to a larger ever-evolving choreography. The series is cumulative and non-linear, and its fragments may be presented individually or in various groupings to form new configurations or compositions.

Curatorial / Administrative Note: Each sculptural fragment or “gesture” in Choreography for Divine Transitions (Gestures) is a unique, individual artwork that is catalogued, titled, and priced and sold individually, but always referenced as part of the ongoing series. Gestures may be exhibited alone or grouped with other gestures, including those created in the future.

Groupings of gestures are presented as unified installations in site-specific, temporary curatorial configurations. This framing maintains the conceptual logic of collectivity and an ever-evolving choreographic score of transforming bodies, while also ensuring clarity for the archiving, exhibition, and acquisition of individual pieces from the series."
