The exhibition Schuß-Gegenschuß uses three different formats: wallpaper, film and photography. The exhibition layout was specially conceived with a view to optimal reception of these three formats. The predominant interests of RothStauffenberg revolve around phenomena such as the ‘interchangeability’ of individual semantic units, images or sounds on the one hand and ‘encoding’ on the other, and enjoy playing with contextualized references.
